Email Judy received Feb. 5, 2016 from Penny Tesarek:
I'm on the board for Mondo Juggling & Unicycle Arts.
We run a festival every year and many of our members are also jugglers at Neverthriving in Minneapolis, where we were privileged to get to know your Dad. He was always so much fun and full of exuberance. He often came to our festival and there were times when fellow jugglers from out of state would come to the festival & need a place to stay - Elliot would jump in and offer the space at his senior center. Those jugglers would often do a show for the seniors too.
Our festival is next weekend (Feb 12-14, 2016) at Concordia College and our variety show is on Saturday night at St. Paul Central High School at 7 pm. We are dedicating the show to Elliot. Thanks so much,
Penny Tesarek

On February 13, 2016 Cindy and Michael were fortunate to attend the event.
A printed program included these touching words about Elliott:
"A dedication...
Elliott Royce taught himself to play the tuba at age 80. Flushed with success, he sought out jugglers and learned to juggle at age 83
He went on to win a gold medal in joggling - juggling while running - though he was admittedly the only joggler in his age group.
He tried unicycling, but his knees weren't up to it.
Three years ago, Elliott came to the MONDO Spectacular with his trampoline coach - he was 94 year old (Elliott, not the coach).
Possibly the friendliest man ever, Elliott Royce died last July: he's in our hearts, and we're dedicating our show tonight to his unstoppable good cheer."
