It is with a heavy heart that The Rock 'n' Read Project says good bye to one of the most wonderful, passionate and enthusiastic boosters of our project.
When we started the Rock 'n' Read Project in April 2014, Elliott Royce immediately contacted us and said "put me to work." He painted the wheels, put together stools used on the bus and hauled a myriad of friends over to see what he was so passionate about.
Elliott succumbed to an untreatable antibiotic-resistant pneumonia on Friday evening and we will miss him greatly. Elliott lived an amazing life and at 96 could not beat the inevitable.
God bless him and know that those who were part of his life will cherish the memories...

Kim Fishman "It was so nice meeting you two and I am glad through Elliot I know of you. More later. Hugs. He is missed."
Carlo Franzblau "Bill, I am so fortunate I got to eat a hotdog with Elliot at a ball game a few months ago! He was a very special human being!"
Ann Kay "I remember that Elliott said that it might have been the only Twins game he'd ever seen live. Glad to have provided a new experience for him."
Sylvia Jenness-coklas "Didn't know, but heard much about this remarkable man~ sorry you lost your good friend."
M. Ann Pritchard "So sorry to hear of his passing. Prayers & hugs to his family."
